School volunteers make a real difference by enriching the links between school and home. Whether they’re listening to readers, coaching sport, assisting on excursions, or helping in the tuckshop, volunteers strengthen the link between school and community. We welcome and value all volunteers at St Matthew’s.
Training for Volunteers
As a volunteer or a third party engaged in our community, you have an important role to play in supporting us to create and maintain safe and supportive environments for everyone in our community.
There are steps you need to take, prior to engaging as a volunteer or third party on one of our sites. This includes undertaking training that will inform you of the standards of behaviour and other requirements that must be adhered to when delivering services within our community.
Access your next steps below for the role you will be undertaking.
